WhatsApp will get a new function
With a considerable regularity, WhatsApp adds new functions to the popular Message app. For example, the organization of events was also possible in private chats, it became possible to set two regular accounts on the same iPhone and many new backgrounds, filters and effects have been added.
WhatsApp also came up with a new feature that makes it possible to call unknown numbers. For this a new menu has been added to the application, with which you can easily enter unknown numbers. They are all useful new functions, which you will not all use just as often in practice. But soon WhatsApp will come up with a new feature that you do not need at all at all.
Add Instagram link to WhatsApp profile
WhatsApp tests a new feature that allows you to link your social media accounts to WhatsApp, and that is not necessary in our opinion. This is evident from the latest iOS beta version of the app (via Wabainfo). The upcoming function adds a part where you can enter links to your social media profiles. The beta currently only supports Instagram integration, but Facebook and Threads are probably also included in the official update.
All links to social media are displayed on the WhatsApp profile of a user in addition to existing information such as name, telephone number and the ‘info’ section. According to the report, WhatsApp will use privacy controls that are comparable to the checks that are already available for profile photos. This way, users can manage who can see their linked social media profiles.
Business accounts on WhatsApp can already display links to social media, but for that it is necessary to first complete a verification process. It is likely that WhatsApp introduces a similar verification process for the public release of the function. It will probably become available within a few weeks if we rely on earlier science functions.
