Last December, OpenAi launched a Chatgpt WhatsApp contact as part of a Christmas campaign. This version of the chatbot is still a bit more limited than that on it webbut now he has a handy new function: generating images.

This is how you use Chatgpt in WhatsApp
The first thing you have to do to use the AI ​​function in WhatsApp is to add Chatgpt as a contact person. You do it like this:
- Open the contacts app on your iPhone;
- Tap at the top right of the plus sign;
- By ‘first name’ you fill in ‘chatgpt;
- Tap ‘Add telephone’ and fill ‘18002428478’;
- Tap ‘ready’ at the top right.
Now you can start a new chat in WhatsApp and opt for chatgpt. When you do that, you see a few options in English. However, this does not mean that you cannot chat in Dutch.
If you want to give chatgpt the assignment to generate an image, you can simply type it in Dutch. You will also receive an answer in the Dutch answer. The bone then goes right before you get started, but it reports that it can take a while. In any case, the first result we received was fine.
In terms of functionality, this AI function in WhatsApp is still a stripped version of Chatgpt. However, you now get image generation based on the same image model that OpenAi released online a few months ago. If you use the function for that, it works completely fine!
