Hello,
I recently found these eggs on the leaf of a celandine.
I have asked the butterfly foundation about it, but they are convinced that it is not the eggs of a butterfly.
Does anyone know who deposited these eggs here?
Thank you in advance for your efforts.
Sincerely,
Jeroen Mulder

Answer
Dear Jeroen,
The eggs seem to be in some kind of web and I suspect that this is the clutch of a small spider. But I wouldn’t put my hand in the fire for it.
Kind regards,
Rudy
