Everyone puts their iPhone on the table from time to time. There is a good chance that you do this with the screen up, but did you know that it is actually better to put the smartphone on the table with the screen down?
That is not a tip to increase your productivity, by the way. It actually has an advantage for the iPhone itself.

It is quite logical that many people put their iPhone on the table with the screen up. Usually the reason behind it is the prevention of scratches. Especially when a consumer does not use a cover. However, it is advisable to put your iPhone on the table the other way around. Especially for users who receive a lot of notifications during the day.
You may not immediately expect it, but turning your iPhone over can have a positive impact on your battery. Once the screen is up, you will see that it lights up with every notification. You can prevent this by placing your smartphone with the screen down. Your iPhone detects the position, leaving the screen off. A convenient way to save a little battery.

However, is this the only way? No definitely not. You can also prevent certain applications from lighting up the screen within the settings on your iPhone. You do this by following the steps below:
- Go to Settings
- Select Notification
- Choose an application
- Tick the option Access screen Bee notifications from
