With Fundalert you are the first bidder for your dream home

Finding a house for sale is especially difficult in these times. The new Fundalert app ensures that you are at the front of the queue at your dream house on Funda.

Fundalert warns against interesting houses

The Dutch housing market is quite overheated, especially in the large cities. Home seekers therefore work overtime on services such as Funda to find the ideal home for sale. But it is not that easy. That could be more convenient, also thought the Dutch developer Kersvers. The company recently released Fundalert.

With this app you set alerts for Funda, based on your wishes. With this, it has released an app that fulfills a function that Funda omits to add to its app: the ability to set up alerts for searches.

Set your preferred location, price, room number and minimum surface and wait and see. As soon as a house appears on Funda that meets your wish list, you will receive a push notification.

This way you are ahead of the competition and you always receive a notification as soon as your dream home appears on the internet. The nice thing is that you can set as many alerts as you want. For example, if you are looking for something in the Utrecht area, you can make different searches for surrounding cities and villages.

In addition, you can change the search query for your alerts at any time, if, for example, it turns out that your budget is too large or small to find houses that suit you. You don’t have to do anything else, and the notifications about new houses will automatically appear on your screen, as long as you have given permission for notifications.

Expand filters for better results

Fundalert has only just been released by Kersvers, which has also developed the Schiphol app, among other things. In the current version it is only possible to filter on four search criteria. Hopefully, more filters will be added in future updates, so that you can search even more precisely.

For example, on the website and in the Funda app itself, it is possible to filter on extensive criteria in order to find the most suitable owner-occupied houses for you. It would be a big plus if you could also add a kilometer radius to the place you are looking for in Fundalert. Then you no longer have to enter multiple filters for other places in the area.

Fundalert costs 0.99 euros in the App Store once. Especially if you are house hunting at popular locations such as Amsterdam, Haarlem, Rotterdam or Utrecht, it is absolutely worth that one euro to get rid of your searching fellow house hunters. Whether you want a viewing or make a quick offer, at least you’re at the front.
