Busy! That is the answer many people give when asked how they are doing. But thanks to these seven simple but useful tricks for your iPhone, you can still save some time.
Nowadays we fly from hot to her for work and private appointments, or we have a day job to keep checking our inbox. And while these iPhone tips really don’t free up an hour of your day, they’re still damn useful to know and make your life just that little bit easier.
iPhone tips you may not know
You may be familiar with some of these seven tips. But maybe we can teach you a few new ones anyway. Some of these tricks we didn’t even know about.
1. Quickly switch between letters and numbers
We often have to switch between letters and numbers. And for that we normally use the ‘123 key’ and then switch back to the letters.
However, if you don’t have to type a long number, just hold down ‘123’ and choose the number you need, release and the keyboard will switch back again.
2. Delete numbers with a swipe
If you’re working in the Calculator app, you may accidentally type in a wrong number. Instead of having to perform the sum again, you can just swipe to the left and your iPhone will delete the last digits.

3. Use the back of your phone
‘Tap Back’ is a damn handy feature that you can completely customize. In fact, you give tapping the back of your phone a function. Here you go to your settings, then Accessibility, then touch and at the bottom you can adjust Tap on the back.
4. Control the volume with your finger
Of course you can always press the button on the side of your iPhone for the Volume. But it is more convenient to hold down the volume button and swipe your finger over the sound bar. That is not only faster, but you can also adjust the volume more accurately.
5. Use your iPhone’s built-in trackpad
Did you know that your keyboard has a built-in trackpad? For this you only have to hold down the space bar and you can easily reach a certain text.
6. Turn off those annoying reviews
It’s infuriating when you get a pop-up from a developer to give the app a review. However, that nonsense is easy to turn off. To do this, go to your settings and then choose the App Store. There you will find the option to turn off Ratings and reviews.

7. Quickly shoot a video with your iPhone
If you want to shoot a video very quickly, you don’t have to go to the video mode on your phone first. In photo mode, just hold down the photo button and your iPhone will start recording automatically.
All in all, very useful things to know without having to make too much effort on your iPhone.
