WIZ is the sister of Philips Hue and comes with new contact sensors that offer more options to secure your home. These smart contact sensors keep an eye on things if you are not at home.
Everyone knows Philips Hue, but also little sister Wiz is working hard. Wiz regularly comes up with new products that are also tested or discussed by PC-Active, such as the WIZ Elpas and the WIZ LED strips. Wiz is now coming up with a new addition to the Wiz Home Monitoring system: a smart contact sensor for doors and windows. In addition to the cameras and lamps with motion detection, the contact sensors also help you keep an eye on things if you are not at home.
Reports and light alarm
Via the Wiz contact sensors you can receive notifications in the app if you are not at home yourself and a door or window is opened at home. If you do not expect a visit, you can immediately intervene and (automatically) activate a light alarm with your wiz lamps. You can also call one of your neighbors to look or take a look yourself via the smart cameras from WIZ if you have them. Moreover, the contact sensors ensure that your lamps do not burn unnecessarily: let your wiz lamps jump when a door is opened or let them go out automatically when the door is closed.
Simple installation
You can easily apply the contact sensor thanks to the included adhesive strips. When the battery of the sensor is almost empty, you will receive a notification in the WIZ app and there is a LED light on the sensor. This way you know exactly when to replace the battery. It is possible to place the sensitudes up to 20 mm apart, making it suitable for different types of doors and windows.
Price and availability
The Wiz Contact Sensor is now available for € 19.99 and the Wiz Contact Sensor 2-Pack can be purchased for € 35.99.
