WiZ comes with the Music Sync feature that allows you to change the lighting brightness and color to the rhythm of music. WiZ also comes with new LED strips, a smart string of lights for indoors and outdoors, a smart outdoor camera, a rotary switch and a series of glass GU10 lamps.
We know the company Signify from the Philips Hue brand, but the other subsidiary WiZ is also making good progress. WiZ is now introducing new LED strips, a smart string of lights for indoors and outdoors, a smart outdoor camera, a rotary switch and a series of glass GU10 lamps. Moreover, WiZ comes with the Music Sync function to complement the WiZ smart lighting system.
WiZ LED strips
With the new WiZ LED strips, available in lengths from 4 to 30 meters, you can create beautiful light accents in any room in the house. All strips can be cut to size, for example above a countertop, in a dressing room or bathroom. With millions of colors and static and dynamic scenes, the strips immediately bring the appropriate atmosphere to any room – whether for everyday lighting and mood lighting or for a special event. In addition, some LED strips can display dynamic effects with multiple colors at the same time thanks to the RGBIC LEDs.
In addition, there will also be a new variant of the WiZ LED Neon Flex. This LED Neon Flex RGBIC strip, available in 5 and 10 meters, is longer, more energy efficient, more durable and more flexible. The strip is easy to bend into a shape of your choice and easy to install on the wall.
The LED strips can be controlled via the app or voice, but also with smart accessories such as the Smart Button and the new Smart Rotary Switch. This way, anyone who comes to your home can easily change the light settings without having to use your smartphone. This way you can use all the smart WiZ functions and you can set the LED strips to turn on or off at specific times, or you can activate the exclusive WiZ SpaceSense function that turns on the lighting due to movement. Finally, all LED strips are Matter compatible, meaning users can control them with any smart home platform such as Apple Home, Google Home or Amazon Alexa.

Dance lightly to music with WiZ Music Sync
Users can now set all their lamps that work with the WiZ system (including Philips Smart LED) so that the brightness and color change to the rhythm of the music. The new Music Sync feature uses the microphone on your phone or tablet to detect music and make the lights flash, light up and change color in time with the music. You can choose from the 9 pre-designed color palettes in the WiZ app and cycle their lights through the colors. You can add as many lights to the Music Sync zone as you want, as long as they are all connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
Smart outdoor camera for a safe feeling
The WiZ Home Monitoring system is also further expanded with a new smart outdoor camera. The WiZ Home Monitoring system combines smart lighting, a camera and motion detection and now offers even more options to secure your home. Thanks to the live video images and notifications via the app, you can always keep an eye on your home, even at night thanks to the infrared night vision. The WiZ app always keeps you informed with live notifications that let you know if the camera has seen or heard something. The camera also has a talk-back function, allowing you to communicate with the person standing in front of you, for example to tell them where to put the package. You can also activate a light alarm where all your WiZ lamps start flashing red (or another color) to attract attention and deter unwanted guests.
Smart String Light and Smart Rotary Switch
The new WiZ Smart String Light is 20 meters long and contains 160 mini LED lights that allow you to create sparkling, vibrant colors with gradients. It is a beautiful addition to a children’s room, balcony or Christmas tree. You can choose from more than 30 preset static and dynamic scenes in the WiZ app, such as Fireplace, Ocean and Party.
Also new is the WiZ Smart Rotary Switch, which allows you to control your smart lighting in a familiar way. This switch has a rotary knob, so you can easily dim the lighting by simply turning the knob. This gives you the same smooth dimming experience as with a classic dimmer on the wall. On the square panel, you can activate four light scenes that you can set yourself in the WiZ app. The switch is rechargeable with a USB cable and portable, so you can easily hang it on the wall or simply place it on the table. It can control multiple WiZ lamps within a range of 15 meters and even works if the Wi-Fi at home is temporarily disabled.
