Always wanted to make that perfect cocktail or pasta? The Workshop app teaches you step-by-step via short videos so that you will soon be cooking the stars from the sky.
Workshop: everyone can cook
The internet is full of recipes, but often these only consist of text. When a video is available, you sometimes have to rewind it to get a good look at what exactly is happening. Workshop solves this problem. With this app you can learn new skills by literally taking a look behind the scenes of experts. Workshop is currently mainly about cooking, but in the future you can also master other skills such as clothing making. That is how it works.
1. What do you want to learn?
Workshop is a well-organized app. From the home screen you can immediately get started with a course, for example making a pie crust, after which you will see what you need and how long it will take. All courses are taught by a well-known kitchen guru.

2. Step-by-step
Then the video starts in which the expert explains what you are going to make. The end product is already shown and you will see again what the ingredients are. You have to tick this and then you start. The cooking process is divided into manageable pieces – for example making dough, kneading and rolling – and each step is introduced with a short video. After this, the video stops so that you have time to follow the instruction.
Become an expert
After going through all the steps you can indicate how it went and possibly add photos of your end product. In your personal library you can keep track of your current courses and watch the videos as often as necessary.
Nice, but pricey
Workshop has three free courses: making flatbread / cake fillings and shaking cocktails. You have to pay for the other sessions. For example, a 4.5-hour cake decorating course costs 11 euros. This is pricey, but for a personal workshop you pay more. In addition, keep in mind that everything is in English.
