With the Xiaomi 12, the growing Chinese brand takes a different approach, we discover that in the new renders of the rumor spreader OnLeaks. The phone gets a 6.2 inch Full HD screen, compared to the huge 6.81 inch QHD panel of the Mi 11. The screen still has curved edges. There is also room for an in-screen fingerprint scanner and the selfie camera this time comes in the middle of the screen.
Users who prefer a larger screen will probably be referred to the other variants of the series this year. Recently we also saw leaks of the Xiaomi 12 Pro and the Xiaomi 12 Ultra. Back then we could already see that both variants will have a larger screen.
5,000 mAh battery, 100W fast charging
Remarkably, a smaller screen does not mean that the Xiaomi 12 gets a much smaller battery. According to rumors, Xiaomi puts a 5,000 mAh copy in its phone. The Xiaomi 12 is therefore slightly thicker and measures 8.6 instead of 8.1 mm with the Mi 11.

The device can also charge with a 100W charger. With this, the phone probably charges a little slower than the Xiaomi 11T Pro that the manufacturer released this fall with a 120W charger. Furthermore, we already know that it will work with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 1. Everything we know so far about the Xiaomi 12 series can be found here.
