Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 (Pro+) official: 108 MP camera and 120 watt charger

Xiaomi has officially presented its Redmi Note 11 range in China. These are the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus, the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Redmi Note 11. The most powerful variant has a 120W fast charger that fully charges the phone in 15 minutes and 5 seconds.

A new range of Redmi Note 11 devices is just around the corner. It concerns three phones from the middle to low price segment. The successors of the Redmi Note 10 phones are called: Xiaomi Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro and Redmi Note 11 Plus. They have already been announced in China, but it is expected that their arrival in the Netherlands and Belgium will only be announced at a later date.

Best fast charger or best battery?

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Pro Plus are almost identical to begin with, as you can see at the bottom of the specifications table. The Pro Plus comes with a powerful 120W fast charger in the box that can fully charge your smartphone in just over 15 minutes. Although the regular Pro has its own asset: a larger 5,160 mAh battery compared to the 4,500 mAh battery in the Pro Plus. The Redmi Note 11 Pro, on the other hand, has a slightly less powerful 67W charger that charges the phone faster than what you can with any Samsung flagship.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Pro Plus have a 6.67 inch AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and a notch in the middle. The panel is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and glass can also be found on the back of the phone. On the side, the fingerprint scanner is part of the power button. You will also find a 3.5 mm audio jack on the housing, but there is no microSD slot. the sound of the phone’s speakers are optimized by JBL.

MediaTek Dimension 920

Under the hood of both phones is a 2.5Ghz Dimensity 920 5G chipset from MediaTek. The phone may be assisted by 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 120 GB or 256 GB of storage. At the moment we do not yet know which models will be available from us in the future. Both devices work with MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android 11.

The camera of the Redmi Note 11 Pro and the Pro Plus is still a Samsung-made 108 MP sensor. It comes with an 8 MP wide-angle camera and a 2 MP tele macro camera for both phones. That is a camera with which you zoom in on small details. At the front is the 16 MP selfie camera.

And then finally there is the cheapest model. It has a slightly smaller 6.6-inch LCD panel and a lighter MediaTek Dimensity 810 5G chipset. A model with 4 GB storage is also available. This Redmi Note 11 appears with a 5,000 mAh battery and a 33W fast charger. The camera setup is the same, but it appears without the telemacro camera. Prices and availability

At the moment it’s just a matter of time as far as Xiaomi’s plans with the phones in the Netherlands are concerned. First of all, we don’t know when these phones will appear with us or whether all three phones will be available for sale here at all. Then there is the question of which storage models and colors will be available.

We have already converted the Chinese prices for the sport and applied VAT. The Redmi Note 11 would be available from 194 euros. You pay 275 euros for the Pro version and 322 euros for the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus. It is not yet known what the actual prices will be. What do you think of this Redmi Note 11 range?
