Yale introduces a new accessory for its smart security system with the Yale Dot. This makes your home access faster, easier and safer.

Yale is a well-known name in the field of security and has been around for 183 years. For some time now, Yale has also been releasing security solutions for a smart home, such as the Yale Linus smart lock as well as smart alarm systems, video doorbell and camera. Now Yale comes with the Yale Dot.

Yale Dot
The Yale Dot is an NFC-enabled device that works well with any Yale smart lock, smart opener, or smart cabinet lock. By simply tapping the Dot with your mobile, you as a user can effortlessly unlock or lock your smart device from anywhere when it is connected to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to let in trusted visitors who are nearby.

Faster and easier access
Each Yale smart device can be paired with up to five Yale Dots. The new accessory offers increased flexibility for keyless entry, as users can place a Yale Dot in a variety of convenient locations throughout the home. For example, they can place a Dot in their home office for easy use while working, or next to the bed for extra security at night. They can place a Dot in the stairwell to unlock the door as soon as they approach their home for easier access.

Also for guests
The Yale Dot also allows owners to easily grant access to trusted visitors through the Yale Home app. The accessory is also ideal for rental property managers. With a Dot on the door, trusted visitors and guests can unlock the lock. Administrators can easily add guests via the Yale Home app and remove them with the touch of a button once their stay is over.

Price and availability
The Yale Dot is now available for purchase at a suggested retail price of €29 for a set of three. When purchasing the Linus L2 smart lock, one Dot is included as standard.
