Riders for Health Powered by Two Wheels for Life is holding an online raffle with great prizes donated by Yamaha Motor, including the official Yamaha Ténéré World Raid competing in the 2022 Africa Eco Race.
Riders for Health have used Yamaha AG100 and AG200 motorcycles for their life-saving health programs in Africa for the past 30 years, but many of the AG100 and AG200 deployed are outdated and in dire need of replacement, and Riders for Health workshops and offices have new ones. tools and IT equipment needed to keep working effectively.
To raise awareness for Riders for Health and raise funds for their projects in Africa, Yamaha and Riders have entered into a three-year partnership with the organization being the title partner of Yamaha’s Ténéré World Raid Rally team, which will compete in the 2022 Africa Eco Race, which will take place from 15 to 30 October.
In the first year of the partnership, Yamaha and Riders for Health will focus their fundraising efforts on the Riders’ program in The Gambia. The fleet of AG100 engines serving in The Gambia for the delivery of crucial preventive agents, such as mosquito nets against malaria, and for organizing regular immunization clinics against various diseases, is in dire need of maintenance or replacement. This operation will eventually cost 100,000 euros.
In order to purchase new bikes and modern equipment, Two Wheels for Life, the UK Riders for Health fundraising arm, has organized an online raffle with prizes donated by Yamaha Motor.
Hoofprijs is one of the official Yamaha Ténéré World Raid (non-road) bikes to compete in the Africa Eco Race 2022, plus a one-day Yamaha Adventure Riding Experience with one of the Africa Eco Race riders, Alessandro Botturi or Pol Tarres.
The prize package also includes four one-day Yamaha Adventure Riding Experiences featuring one of the Africa Eco Race riders, Alessandro Botturi or Pol Tarrés, and ten Yamaha Ténéré World Raid Hoodies featuring the team logo of Official Yamaha Ténéré World Raid competing in the 2022 Africa Eco Race.
The raffle starts today, June 24, and will run after the 2022 Africa Eco Race until November 27. To enter the raffle, entrants must register and purchase tickets on the dedicated Yamaha Motor for Riders website.
