Most are familiar with the NS Travel Planner app. But what if your journey consists of more public means of transport than the train? Then 9292 OV is a very handy app to have. Here you can see your complete travel overview. Whether by train, bus, tram or metro.
In the 9292 app you can see every part of your journey. You download the app here for android and here for iOS. From purchased e-tickets to travel advice to changes on certain routes: you’ll find it all here. You can view all these options by opening the menu at the top left by tapping the three stripes.

Plan your trip
Most of the time, however, you will use the app to plan your journey by public transport. Do you know in advance where you are traveling to? Then you can enter the departure address and your final destination. The app will then automatically show you how to travel and by which means of transport. And if you have to walk a bit, the app will clearly indicate this with a walking doll with the word ‘route’ next to it. That way you don’t get lost in an unknown location.
You also immediately see what the trip will cost and you can buy your ticket directly in the app if you don’t have a public transport card.
Save your trip
Do you plan your trip in advance? Then you can also save your trip for later. You do this by entering the starting point and the arrival point and then tapping the three dots in your travel overview at the top right. Then choose the option Save to calendar. This way you save the trip in your digital agenda and you immediately see an overview of how you should travel in your note.
Do you want to save the travel overview in the app itself? Then tap the plus sign at the top right. This will now change to a blue checkmark. You can now find the saved journey in the main menu by tapping on the three bars at the top left and look below My travel advice. The app will automatically update your journey if there are changes such as delays or transport cancellations.
Instant travel
Are you somewhere and do you want to see how you can get home the fastest? The app also comes in handy then. Select in the menu ‘departure times’ and you will immediately see the nearest bus, tram and metro stops as well as the nearest stations. If you select a stop, you immediately see which bus lines leave at what time and where they go. Also handy: do you have to wait a while? Scroll down a little further to see some other nearby locations such as restaurants, cafeteria or sights.
