Electric VW Up, Skoda Citigo and Seat Mii sold out

Although the Dutch dealers have only recently welcomed the fully electric and updated versions of the Volkswagen Up, Skoda Citigo and Seat Mii in the showrooms, the triplets for this year have already been sold out. All reserved production places are forgiven!

Anyone looking for the Citigo-e iV configurator on the Dutch Skoda website will soon be disappointed. The compact electric Czech is “temporarily sold out” according to the website. Inquiries show that this applies to the rest of the year. Skoda Nederland: “We have gone through our production sites from 2020.” Anyone wishing to order a new Citigo-e IV now must wait until at least next year. The Dutch importer cannot say how many places there were to forgive. They say they are “pretty many”. Up to and including February this year around 200 copies were put on license plates.

What about the other two models of the trio? “For the Seat Mii Electric, all production sites for 2020 have also been filled in.” The configurator of the electric Up has also disappeared from the site. At the time of writing, however, Volkswagen still has sixty new e-Ups in stock. Anyone who now wants a new one must have a lot of patience before their electric Citigo, Up or Mii hangs on the nearest charging point.

The triplets have recently been tackled considerably. All three of them get the same electric power train with which the three must be able to travel 260 (WLTP) kilometers. Because the basic price fluctuates around € 23,000, they are the cheapest EVs with such a range. The Up is the only one available non-electrically. That configurator is still online.
