Do you want to send someone an e-mail, but you don’t know the correct address? You can of course gamble with the name of the person in question plus the email domain of a company. Unfortunately, that doesn’t always work. Use Skrapp to find a business email address.
Skrapp is a plugin for Chrome. After installation, this tool acts as a business email finder. Skrapp extracts (hidden) email addresses from LinkedIn profiles. Sometimes the privacy settings are too strict or LinkedIn has no contact details. Skrapp works surprisingly well in practice, but keep in mind that in some cases the tool will not find an email address. Of course you can always try!
to install
You simply add the Skrapp plugin to Chrome. Surf with this browser to www.skrapp.io and click the blue button Install free browser extension / Install Email Finder†Then confirm with add to Chrome / Add Extension†After installation, the plugin nestles in the browser’s menu bar.
To register
Click at the top Extensions (puzzle piece icon). Through Skrapp.io – Email Finder then click Signup†A new web page will open. As a new user you can create an account in two ways. Use your existing LinkedIn profile or create a new Skrapp account. In the latter case, enter a name, e-mail address and password after which you confirm with Signup for free†Finally, open your email box to confirm the account.
If you use Skrapp regularly, it is useful to give the email finder a permanent place in the menu bar of Chrome. Click on Extensions and then on Lock (pin icon). A blue envelope icon will appear in the menu bar.
Find email address
You simply put the plugin to work. Go to a LinkedIn profile of a person whose email address you want to find out. Then click on the envelope icon. With a bit of luck, the pop-up window will show contact details with the desired email address. Skrapp is a handy tool if you occasionally want to find out a business e-mail address. With a free account you can request fifty e-mail addresses per month.
