From mid-September you can order the all-new Mercedes-Benz Citan, also in the passenger car variant Citan Tourer. Versions with petrol and diesel engines appear first.
For the last time, Mercedes-Benz is launching a newly developed commercial vehicle with fuel engines. It concerns the new generation Mercedes-Benz Citan, which will be in the showrooms halfway next month. An electric variant is already provided, but the eCitan will not appear until mid-2022. First, the compact van with two petrol engines and three diesels will arrive.
The two petrol versions of the Citan Panel Van have an output of 102 and 131 hp (maximum 200 or 240 Nm of torque); the diesels range in power from 75 to 116 hp (230 to 270 Nm). The braked towing capacity is 1,500 kg. The van comes in many versions, with short and long wheelbase. The short-wheelbase Citan in particular offers more space inside compared to the previous model. Despite the length of only 4,498 meters, you can order a Citan with a loading space of up to 3,053 meters. The maximum load capacity is 2.9 m3.

Passenger car variant Citan Tourer
The sales launch of the passenger car variant Citan Tourer will start at the same time. It is available with petrol engines from 102 to 131 horsepower. The four-cylinder diesel engine C110 with 95 hp and 260 Nm of torque is also available for the Tourer. The passenger car has a split-folding rear seat as standard. Furthermore, it has a tailgate with rear window, where the commercial vehicle has two doors. The latter also has one or two sliding side doors.
All fuel engines meet the Euro6 emissions standard. In addition, all Mercedes Citan cars have a start/stop function. In addition to the six-speed manual transmission, you can also order the Citan (Tourer) with a seven-speed automatic DCT dual clutch transmission.
The German brand has paid great attention to safety and comfortable driving. The new Citan is available with the necessary driver assistance systems and the latest version of the MBUX infotainment system.
