The coronavirus may now have the news in its grasp, but thirty years ago there were completely different issues. For example, the brand new Ford Escort has been spotted for the first time and these photos even make it into the opening image for the cover. “More space, more luxury, more power and with a super sporty variant.” The latter applies to the three-door Cosworth version that we also see together with an Escort Van. We also highlight the “brand new” Mercedes-Benz G-class, which receives prices of between 119,950 and 153,750 guilders. Test
As we now have a test with the Renault Captur, Nissan Juke and Skoda Kamiq from the popular crossover segment, in the 1990 number 15 two cars from a segment popular for that time compete against each other. We contrast two B-segment sedans: the Opel Corsa 1.4i GL four-door against the Suzuki Swift Sedan 1.3 GL. It is nice to see that in 1990 the design of cars changed radically. Take the somewhat outdated but strongly angular Corsa and the for that time brand new and especially rounder Swift. With the Opel it is noted that such a car has been built with more experience, but the Swift gets points for its creativity.
We are also making the first meters in Europe with the Chrysler Le Baron and the poster story is about a DAX Cobra. This car is a kit for less than 15,000 guilders, which will then take around 250 to 400 building hours. But then you have something!

The first report of Techzle 15 1990 is about extinguishing a fire under the hood. In 10 steps it is explained what to do if the engine block catches fire.
