Like every year, the prices of previous iPhones drop after the release of the latest iPhone. This is no different with the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max, because the devices have become cheaper in recent months. Apple has adopted the starting prices of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max for the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. 2. Very well-known design

Do you want to have the latest design of iPhone? Apple has opted for a titanium casing for both the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) and the iPhone 16 Pro (Max). The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max run on the powerful A17 Pro chip. That this processor will last for years to come became clear with the release of the iPad mini 2024, which runs on the same chip. That is not very strange, because with the A17 Pro chip, the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) has support for Apple Intelligence. That’s a huge advantage, because older iPhones don’t work with the new features. That is not a problem yet, but after the release of Apple Intelligence it will be a shame if you cannot use the latest features.

Apple announced with the iPhone 16 series that the devices have been specially developed for Apple Intelligence, but the iPhone 15 Pro (Max) also works with the new technology. Do you want your iPhone to support all the new features, but you don’t want to pay the top price? Then you quickly arrive at the iPhone 15 Pro or the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which will be expanded with Apple Intelligence from April.

4. USB-C

An important change that Apple has implemented in 2023 is the USB-C port on the iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both devices have to make do without a Lightning port, instead the phones charge with a USB-C cable. We see the same charging port this year on the iPhone 16 (Plus) and the iPhone 16 Pro (Max). Apple had no choice, because the company was forced to switch to USB-C due to new European legislation.

You no longer need the latest iPhone for a USB-C connection. The new charging port has several advantages. You no longer need a separate cable to charge your iPhone, iPad and AirPods. In addition, Apple has opted for a braided finish for the new USB-C cable, which makes the cable much less likely to break. This saves costs, because the cable does not need to be replaced as quickly.

5. Much of the same

Furthermore, the iPhone 16 Pro and the iPhone 16 Pro Max are largely the same, so you won’t miss much if you choose the iPhone 15 Pro or the iPhone 15 Pro Max. All devices have an action button, where you decide which function you link to the button. The camera control is new on the iPhone 16, but it brings few new features to the phone. You probably won’t miss the controller on the iPhone 15 Pro (Max).

We also see few changes under the hood. The iPhone 15 Pro and the iPhone 15 Pro Max have 8 GB of RAM, just like the iPhone 16 series.
