Now with wheels?

Lancia seems to be turning the special Pu+Ra ‘thing’ from the end of last year into an actual car, albeit a concept car. The name: Lancia Emozione Pu+Ra.
The Lancia Pu+Ra Zero was presented in November as a special indication of the design direction that the (outside Italy) reborn Lancia chooses. The Lancia Pu+Ra Zero is not a car, but a sculpture that the Italians call a speed shape. Without wheels, but with a clear front and back, the thing had to show what we can literally expect from Lancia in the coming years.

‘Pu+Ra’, which stands for ‘Pure’ and ‘Radical’, will remain a theme for the Italian brand for a while. Instead of the sculpture, however, Lancia seems to actually show a car on April 15. Its full name is Lancia Emozione Pu+Ra. Judging by what we are already seeing, it is actually a ‘far-auto-de’ version of the Zero. We see the same round taillights, the same typography for the word ‘Lancia’, but with something that looks like a bumper and an interesting collection of slat-like stripes. The whole is definitely reminiscent of the legendary Stratos, although that also depends on the rest of the car. We will know more in April!
