Today in ‘car news that is as thin as a Bugatti Chiron thick’: the Kia EV6 Brick To The Future. That is not a new movie car, but a Kia EV6 built from Danish plastic blocks. Especially for Milan Design Week.

Milan Design Week kicks off next week in the fashion city of Milan. Kia attracts attention in a very special way. It parks a Kia EV6 GT built entirely from Lego bricks in Milan. Not a miniature, but just full size.

Kia calls its creation of no less than 350,000 Lego bricks ‘EV6 Brick to the Future’. The Italian branch of Kia commissioned the Italian company BrickVision to build the special attention grabber. BrickVision says it took 800 hours to complete the project. That will undoubtedly result in a nice invoice. The plastic EV6 GT has working lighting, but is most likely not able to sprint from a standstill to a speed of 100 km / h in 3.5 seconds.

It is not the first time that we see a replica of a car made entirely of Lego bricks. For example, the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, the Bugatti Chiron, the Honda Civic Type-R, the McLaren Senna and the Volkswagen T2 from Lego have previously been copied.
