It is now an open secret that BMW Motorrad will celebrate its 100th anniversary in style this year with the launch of the latest generation boxer GS, the R 1300 GS.
Many had thought that the R 1300 GS would be unveiled next month at the BMW Motorrad Days, which takes place from 7 to 9 June, but instead of that event, the Germans have chosen to showcase the bike at the opening of BMW Motorrad World on September 28.
In the new “heart of the brand”, located right next to the BMW Motorrad plant in Berlin-Spandau, the new R 1300 GS will be presented during an exclusive opening of BMW Motorrad Welt. The unveiling will therefore be broadcast live on BMW Motorrad’s social media. BMW Motorrad Welt will be open to the public from September 30, 2023.
