Refueling becomes more expensive again

With their buttocks squeezed, many Dutch motorists will soon visit the local gas stations again. As of July 1, the excise duty on car fuels will increase and that will suddenly make a full tank a lot more expensive. Those who live in Overijssel are lucky. Research by mobility pass provider MultiTankcard shows that the cheapest way to refuel is in that province.
MultiTankcard has analyzed the average fuel prices in the period from 1 May to 20 June. The conclusion: in Overijssel it is cheapest to fill up with Euro 95 (E10) and diesel. In particular at Roeleveld-Roling in Denekamp. The average liter price for Euro 95 in the period from 1 May to 20 June amounted to an average of ‘only’ €1.66. For a liter of diesel you spent an average of €1.35 in the same period.
It is again no surprise that the cheapest petrol stations were found (far) outside the Randstad in the past period. In the top three of cheapest pumps for Euro 95 we find two filling stations in Groningen.
