Tightened
The updated Mazda 2 Hybrid has appeared on the Dutch price lists. The always hybrid Mazda 2 has a starting price of just under €27,000.
In September last year, the Mazda 2 Hybrid climbed off the cutting table with a new face and a tightened buttock. It’s just another Mazda version of the Toyota Yaris. This makes the 2 range special again in 2024. The Mazda 2 Hybrid is once again standing next to the Mazda 2 without the Hybrid addition in the showrooms. That is a completely different model, fully developed by Mazda, with mild-hybrid powertrains. We now know what the facelifted Mazda 2 Hybrid should cost: at least €26,790.
For just under 27 grand you can drive the Japanese in the basic Prime-line version. For more pampering you can choose the Centre-line, Exclusive-line, Homura and Homura Plus. Regardless of the chosen version, it has a 116 hp hybrid powertrain with a 1.5 four-cylinder and a CVT. The average consumption is – depending on the wheel size – 3.8-4.3 l/100 km.
