Apple Watch SE: new design

Gurman has said that the Apple Watch SE will have a “new look.” But he gave no further details. However, there are more rumors about the next version of the Apple Watch SE 2025.

Apple introduced the Apple Watch SE in 2020. This smartwatch was based on the design of the Apple Watch Series 4 from 2018. If we keep that in mind, the new Apple Watch SE will probably have the looks of the Apple Watch Series 7.

Mark Gurman has said in the past that Apple is considering giving the Apple Watch SE a plastic casing. So it could well be that the next Apple Watch SE will have this housing. If Apple goes for a plastic casing, there will probably be some new (perhaps bright) colors.

The Apple Watch SE 2025 will probably also have a larger screen than the previous versions. The question remains whether the screen will become physically larger, or whether Apple will make the edges thinner. In any case, you will have more display space available and that is of course a bonus.

Three times Apple Watch in 2025

If we can believe the rumors, three new Apple Watches will be released this year: the Apple Watch SE 2025, Apple Watch Ultra 3 and the Apple Watch Series 11. The last time three new Apple Watches were released in one year was in 2022. Then the Apple Watch SE 2022, Apple Watch Series 8 and the first version of the Apple Watch Ultra were released.
