5 new Apple products that are coming
We expect the first new Apple products from 2025 in February or March, so they will soon arrive. It always remains to be seen what Apple comes with, but so far we expect at least these 5 products:
M4 MacBook Air
The popular MacBook Air will get the next upgrade. Expect, among other things, an M4 chip, 16 GB of memory, a nano texture display option, a 12 MP camera with center (Center Stage) and support for two external screens. Due to the M4 chip, the battery life may also be longer. The design is probably the same as with the 13-inch and 15-inch models.
We expect a release in February or early March – somewhere around the same time that the M3 MacBook Air came on the market at the beginning of 2024.
iPhone SE 4
The next iPhone from Apple is probably the iPhone SE 4, if it will indeed be called that, and we expect it in March. This new more affordable iPhone gets the design of the iPhone 14, with OLED screen and no home button. We also expect Face ID and a notch, and the A18 chip that is also in the iPhone 16. The iPhone SE 4 probably also receives support for Apple Intelligence, which means that there is also 8 GB of memory.
The 48 MP camera that comes in is probably comparable to that of the iPhone 16 and the device gets the very first 5G modem designed by Apple. Naturally, a USB C-ASSLTSUS is also on. We expect that Apple will ask a little more than 600 euros hole for the new iPhone SE, possibly 649 euros.
‘Homepad’ Smart Display
This new Apple product is also often called HomePod with display, but it seems more and more that the Homepad is going to be. Mark Gurman recently expanded the product described. The Homepad should give the Apple home product line a boost. According to Gurman, the emphasis is on Siri, communication and home control. He first said that the Homepad would appear in March, but then that it could be a little later.
The device works with Safari, Apple Music, notes and a number of other Apple apps, but has no app store. The Homepad probably has a touchscreen, but the emphasis is on voice control via the new App Intents from Apple Intelligence. The new operating system is a kind of mix of Watchos and the iOS standby mode.
The Homepad is about the size of two iPhones next to each other and has a screen of about 6 inches. You can probably put it both and attach it to the wall. There is a lot of attention for security and there is a video/audio intercom function that cooperates with other Apple devices in the house. The screen is adjustable with Apple-Widgets and Home controls. There are also two speakers in it, a facetime camera and a battery.
iPad 11
2023 was a barren year for the iPad. That is why it was initially expected that Apple would update the entire iPad product line in 2024. There were new iPad pro, iPad Air and iPad mini models, but the basic model eventually remained unchanged.
The iPad will soon receive an update for the 11th generation. We don’t know much about this new iPad yet, except that he gets a faster chip from the A-series. Probably a with 8 GB of memory that supports Apple Intelligence. The device may also receive Apple’s new WiFi and Bluetooth chip.
M3 iPad Air
The Basic Iphad is not the only tablet that will be on the market soon. Although Apple launched the iPad Air with the M2 chip last May, rumors indicate that there will soon be an M3 upgrade. Not much is known about the M3 iPad Air, except that it should support a number of updated keyboard accessories from Apple. For the rest, it is probably just improved versions of the 11-inch and 13-inch models that are already there.
Apple products in 2025: Apple Watch SE 3
Finally, there is a possible sixth product that could soon be on the market, namely the Apple Watch SE 3. The last Apple Watch SE was released in 2022 and in the run -up to Apple’s event in September 2024 were rumors on a launch of the Se 3, but it never came.
Earlier Apple Watch SE models came on the market in September, but there are reasons to assume that the new SE will be published this spring. If the release was just not achieved in September 2024, it is unlikely that Apple will wait a whole year. In addition, a release could coincide this spring with the release of the iPhone SE 4.
