A handy WhatsApp function that was already available in group chats will soon also be added to private chats.
This WhatsApp function comes to private chats
In WhatsApp group chats you can create events for some time to organize meetings. You can give those events a name, date and time, but also a description, a location, a Urppink and an end time. With this WhatsApp function you can only invite people who are in the group chat.
WhatsApp is now planning To bring this feature to private chats. In this way, all these functions for planning events are available in one-on-one conversations. It is a next step in the direction of Meta’s goal to keep users in the app longer. It is then not necessary to switch to agendas or other apps to organize meetings, set memories and to coordinate agreements.

Confetti
In the meantime, Apple is about to launch its own iCloud-based app for planning events, called ‘Confetti’. The service must offer users a new way to invite people for parties, functions and meetings, compared to the current simplistic way to create events in the Agenda app.
One -off display
WhatsApp also tests a function to have users open media with ‘one -off display’ on linked devices. At present, such an image or video can only be viewed on the most important registered device of a user account. This change is therefore only useful if you use WhatsApp on more than one device.
WhatsApp recently released an update for iOS devices to remedy an important privacy rack that influenced the ‘One-time display’ function. The bug gave users access to photos and videos that should have disappeared after once. If you update WhatsApp to the latest version, you can be sure that this problem has been solved.
