If we can believe the rumors, a new Apple release will arrive this week. That will probably be the MacBook Air 2025!
MacBook Air 2025 is coming this week with these improvements
In his most recent newsletter, reliable Apple expert Mark Gurman has usually announced that we can expect a new Apple product this week. According to Gurman, that will be the MacBook Air 2025, but what improvements will this new version of the MacBook Air get?

The most important change will be the new chip. The most recent version of the MacBook Air from 2024 has an M3 chip. It is pretty fast, but the new version of the MacBook Air is adding a little extra. This will get the M4 chip. This chip is also in the MacBook Pro 2024.
Those are not the only differences between the MacBook Air 2024 and MacBook 2025. We expect a few other upgrades. This way the CPU gets a little better and goes from 8 to 10 cores. The working memory is also being expanded. That goes from 24 GB to 32 GB RAM.
The memory also probably gets a bit faster and the bandwidth goes from 100 GB/s to 120 GB/s. The webcam also gets a lot better. The webcam in the MacBook Air 2024 is a 1080p Facetime HD camera (that is about 2 megapixels). The new version will receive a 12 MP camera and also the function center (in English: Center Stage).

With this function, the camera center the image, so that you are always visible in the middle of the image. This is especially useful during Facetime conversations. With the help of artificial intelligence you remain clearly visible, even when you move.
In addition, we also expect a (slightly) better battery life and perhaps an optional nanotexture option for the screen. Furthermore, the expectations are that the MacBook Air 2025 will also get a Thunderbolt 4 port. That is three with the latest version of Apple’s popular laptop.
