Citroën C3 facelift

Citroën sends faceted C3 to the world. The new front demands the most attention. The car will be at the dealership before the summer breaks out.

The current C3 is almost four years old and with that, according to the French, it is high time to saw the car in half and to renew it here and there. The biggest changes to the facelift can be found at the front of the car. Citroën has designed a new grille there. With the pre-facelift, the chrome strips extend from the central logo to the top and bottom of the top row of lamps. Now the lower decorative strip makes a right-angled turn down towards the larger headlight units, after which it stops abruptly halfway. It gives the front a unique appearance. The headlights are also equipped with new LED technology.

Citroëns now known airbumps have also been changed. The old layout of several cushions is being replaced by three larger air bubbles. Inside, the C3, just like family members, gets the Advanced Comfort seats for even more comfort in the C3. If you look closely you will see an armrest on the side of the driver’s seat: it is new! In terms of parking assistance, drivers can now also count on (optional) parking sensors at the front. In addition to a new LED layout of the lights, the rear of the C3 is continued without significant changes. The updated carriage can be configured in 97 different ways.

More than 750,000 copies of the current C3 have been sold since its introduction in 2016. The sale should start around June 2020.
