I recently switched from the Apple Watch SE 2022 to series 10. These are the biggest differences and what I have in the practice of brand.

Apple Watch SE 2022 VS Series 10
The combination of curiosity and a financial windfall led me to purchase an Apple Watch Series 10. My Apple Watch SE 2022 is more than 1.5 years old and actually I have only one thing to criticize: the battery life. Not that it is so dramatically bad (I would be able to pass it on for another year), but longer is of course better. If I could change something about the SE then it is the battery life.
In addition, there are of course other differences between the two devices. We all put them next to each other and at the same time I tell what I have noticed so far in practice. That helps you to determine whether a similar switch is worth it!

Housing
Both the Apple Watches are available in aluminum, but the housing of the series 10 is slightly larger than that of the SE 2022 (44 or 40 mm to 46 or 42 mm). In addition, the series 10 is also available in Titanium, which immediately drives up the price considerably. I went from 44 mm to 46 mm. That difference is only 2 mm, but the series 10 clearly feels bigger.
Screen
Not only the housing is larger, but also the screen. Here the difference is 0.18 inches. That may not seem much, but in practice, operating the Apple Watch Series 10 is really a lot more comfortable. To be clear: serving the SE is fine. No problem at all if that is what you are used to. But if you try the series 10, you notice that everything is just a bit easier.
Moreover, the screen of the series 10 is sharper and the maximum brightness with 2000 Nits is twice as high. The screen is also clearer up to 40 percent when you look at it from a corner. In addition, in contrast to the screen of the SE, it is an always on-screen. That is also something I didn’t really miss. But now that I have experienced it on series 10, I never want anything else.

Performance
It may be clear that thanks to the S10 chip, the series is a lot faster than the SE with the S8 chip. You notice that in practice, but the difference is not shocking. The double amount of storage space of 64 GB is especially nice if, for example, you want to store a lot of music on your Apple Watch.
Furthermore, the Series 10, unlike the SE has an Ultra Wideband – chip. As a result, the search is expanded with accurate search. The Apple Watch Series 10 also uses a new neural network for voice insulation that runs on the 4-core Neural Engine and that suppresses background noise during phone calls or Facetime audio calls.
Sensors
The Apple Watch Series 10 also has more sensors than the Apple Watch SE. For example, there is the electric heart rate sensor (ECG app), the saturation app, the temperature measurement of the wrist, sleep apnea detection and the water temperature sensor. Whether all these sensors really offer added value must still be seen. It’s nice that you have them, but I have never actually missed anything on the Apple Watch SE.

Battery
The Apple Watch Series 10 has a slightly more powerful battery than the iPhone SE: 327 mAh compared to 296 mAh. In addition, the S10 chip is more economical than the S8 chip. This therefore results in a longer battery life. In addition, the series 10 charges a lot faster: no less than 80 percent in 30 minutes.
The strange thing is that Apple itself indicates the same battery life for both devices, namely up to 18 hours of use. In practice, however, you do notice a clear difference. It must be stated that the battery condition of the SE is currently 88 percent, that of the series 10 of course still at 100. I now charge the series 10 as standard during breakfast and showering. For the time being that is more than sufficient if I always wear the Watch.
Conclusion: Apple Watch SE 2022 VS Series 10
It will be clear that the Apple Watch Series 10 is actually better on all fronts than the Apple Watch SE 2022. At the same time, the SE 2022 is still a very useful Apple Watch. If you only find the basic functions important and you have no problems with you to charge a little more often, then you can save a lot of money by choosing the SE.
Only when you experience the series 10 do you notice that the SE is just a bit behind on many points. That is of course logical. Personally, I am very happy with the longer battery life, but surprisingly also with the Always on-screen. The extra sensors and functions are also pleasant. Whether they really have added value, I probably only notice in a while.
