With a market share of 17 percent among iPhone users, the iPhone 13 remains the most popular choice in the Netherlands. Especially among young people between the ages of 16 and 24, this series is unprecedentedly popular: almost one in three young people still uses an iPhone 13. This model is also firmly at the top of the 24 to 35-year-olds group.
Yet the struggle for the most popular iPhone in 2025 is not yet completely fought. The popularity of the iPhone 16 is growing steadily. Meanwhile, 12 percent of the iPhone owners use a device from this latest series.
This means that the iPhone 16 is now in fifth place in the list of most used iPhone models in the Netherlands. The iPhone 15 is in second place of most popular iPhones in 2025. The iPhone 14 follows in third place.

In the group of 24 to 35-year-olds, the popularity of the iPhone 16 is somewhat higher, because 15 percent of this group has already switched to Apple’s latest smartphone.
