iOS 26 Beta 3
A new test version of iOS 26 has been released! Apple has rolled iOS 26 beta 3 for developers, so that they can already get started with all the new functions in the software version. It is now about the third test version, in which Apple mainly makes small improvements. Test versions are intended to perfect the software, so that the update can be installed on all iPhones in September without any problems.
Apple introduces with iOS 26 Liquid Glass, which gives almost all menu talks and buttons of the operating system a new design. Not everyone was enthusiastic about this new design, because in some cases the transparent frameworks were difficult to read. For example, Menubalks, the control panel and the reporting center in earlier versions of iOS 26 were easy to read, but Apple changes that with the latest beta.
Liquid Glass less transparent
To improve the readability of the operating system, Apple has made menus and buttons less transparent in iOS 26 beta 3. In applications such as Apple Music, Podcasts and the App Store, for example, the Menu Alkken are less translucent, so that they are more clearly visible. These frameworks have a white background in the third test version than the glass effect in earlier betas of iOS 26.
Apple has also implemented small changes in the design of the control panel. All regulators for WiFi, Bluetooth, AirDrop and mobile data receive adapted colors, which are fiercer and better match the new design of the operating system. In addition, the symbols of a number of apps have been adjusted, including the icons of photos and files. All applications receive new symbols in iOS 26, which are gradually being introduced.
More wallpapers in iOS 26 beta 3
Do you use the background that Apple installs on your iPhone as standard? In that case you get more options in iOS 26 beta 3, because the wallpaper from iOS 26 is available in more colors. Where previously only the blue background was available, three more options are added in the third test version. The iOS 26-Wallpaper is therefore available in, among other things, the colors green and pink.
Apple therefore mainly improves the design of iOS 26 in beta 3. No new functions have been discovered (yet), Apple has paid particular attention to the design of the operating system.
