Do you also have that your flashlight is suddenly on your iPhone? Annoying! But luckily you can do something about that.
Turn off (and remove) on your iPhone: This is how you do it
Maybe you know it: you take your iPhone out of your pocket and walk quietly. But you suddenly notice that everyone looks at you a little irritated. If you look closely at your iPhone, you notice something. You can see that the flashlight is on again (unsolicited!). Not only annoying, but it also unnecessarily slurves the battery of your iPhone. Time to tackle that problem once and for all!

You usually turn on the flashlight by accident, because you have touched the icon (bottom left) on the lock screen. Fortunately you can do something about that. Because by removing the icon, the accidental turnout of the flashlight is a thing of the past. The removal of the flashlight is so squeezed by following the steps below.
Flashlight removal from the lock screen on your iPhone
- Hold down your finger on the lock screen of your iPhone until the ‘Adjustment’ button appears;
- Tap ‘adjust’ until you can change the screen;
- Tap the minus sign (-) next to the flashlight button to remove it;
- You then tap ‘ready’ to save the changes. The flashlight button is then no longer visible on the access screen.

To turn on the flashlight you can always tap the icon in the control panel. The control panel is the screen that you see when you wipe down from the top right edge of the screen. On an iPhone with Touch ID, wipe up from the bottom of the screen.
- Open the control panel;
- Tap the flashlight icon to switch on the flashlight;
- Do this again to switch off the flashlight again.
