Apple is from making Apple TV Plus more expensive. In America it will certainly happen, but what about the Netherlands (and Belgium)?
Apple TV Plus is becoming more expensive (but also in the Netherlands?)
Bad news for fans of Apple TV Plus. Apple has decided to raise the prices again. According to Apple that will happen in the United States and a number of other countries. From today, a monthly subscription there costs 12.99 dollars instead of $ 9.99.

Apple does not give an exact reason for making Apple TV Plus more expensive. The company emphasizes that the streaming service has been considerably expanded with original series and films since the launch. And if you take Apple One, you still get ‘the best way to use all Apple subscriptions together, for the best price’.
Apple does not share exact figures about how popular Apple TV Plus is, but thanks to the two of Severance season, the streaming service has grown considerably in numbers lately.
Price increase in Europe for Apple TV Plus
Whether we will also pay more in the Netherlands has not yet been officially confirmed. Apple usually applies price increases in phases: first the US, then it is the turn of the other markets.

In the Netherlands, Apple TV Plus now costs 9.99 euros. In 2023 there was already a price increase and then we went from 6.99 euros to 9.99 euros. At the same time there was also a price increase from $ 6.99 to $ 9.99 in America.
So last time Apple also extended the price increase here and Apple TV Plus made more expensive. So there is a chance that you will soon also feel it in your own wallet. This does not necessarily have to be this year, but could also happen somewhere next year. Until then, the Dutch (and Belgian) prices remain the same.
