It’s time to go to the polls again! On Wednesday October 29, 2025 are the House of Representatives elections in the Netherlands. You can choose from no fewer than 27 parties and 1166 candidates, so it is quite possible that you are not yet sure who you will vote for. Are you still unsure who your vote will go to this year? Or do you want to know where all voting locations are located? With these three tips, your smartphone will make voting in the 2025 elections easier!
1. Voting guide
Don’t know yet who you’re going to vote for? In that case, it is advisable to complete a questionnaire that can help you determine your political preference. The Voting Guide tests your political preference based on thirty statements. For each statement you must indicate whether you agree, disagree or neither. After answering all the questions, you will be shown the three parties that suit you best for the 2025 elections.
For each political party you can also see for what percentage of the statements you have the same position. With the Voting Guide you can view the full results in addition to your top three, so that you can see exactly which parties suit you most. You do not have to create an account or enter any other information. The Voting Guide is completely free and can be completed via this link. Of course, you do not have to vote for one of these parties in the 2025 elections, but this way you at least know which political preference you have.
2. Check your voice
Have you found out what your political preference is, but are you not yet sure which party you want to vote for? It is then advisable to check your vote against motions. Parties in the House of Representatives regularly vote for or against motions and that is exactly what you do with the motion electoral guide do. You will see 29 motions, where you decide whether to vote for or against the statement.
For all motions, see the pros and cons and you can request more information about the position. Did you answer all the questions? Then go to your results to see which parties voted the same way on the motions in the House of Representatives. You can see for all parties the percentage of motions to which you gave the same answer. This way you know which party suits you best, based on the actual voting behavior of political parties in the House of Representatives.
3. Find a polling station
Have you decided which party you will vote for? Then it’s time to see where you can vote. Polling stations can be found in every municipality, which are also indicated on this website. Here you can see where all polling stations in the Netherlands are located per municipality. That’s not all, because the facilities for each voting location are also indicated. This way you know which polling station is wheelchair-friendly and where toilets are available.
Once you have found a polling station nearby, you can also request directions via the website. This way you know exactly how to get to the polling station, so you can cast your vote without any problems. Your smartphone not only helps you determine which party you can vote for, but also where you should do so.

After completing the election guides and finding a polling station, you are ready for the 2025 House of Representatives elections. You can Wednesday October 29, 2025 voting from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. In any case, don’t forget to bring a valid ID and your voting card, so that you can be sure that you can vote!
