Samsung removes adjustable aperture

In 2020, Samsung decided to delete the camera function again, making it striking that the iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max do have a variable aperture.
Samsung said goodbye to the adjustable aperture for several reasons. The camera function is relatively expensive to produce, which allowed Samsung to save production costs by omitting the feature. The part also provided a thicker housing, which was reason enough for Samsung to eliminate the adjustable aperture. Samsung may reverse that choice, now that Apple is providing the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max with a similar feature.
