WhatsApp is currently working on a new feature that you can operate with a button and that will also save you a lot of time – you need to know this.
WhatsApp conversations get a new button
The new feature that WhatsApp according to WABetaInfo If you add a button to the app, you can schedule messages. With a scheduled message it is possible to automatically send a message at a specific date and time. Scheduling a message can be useful for reminders or important updates that you don’t want to forget. The message remains in the queue until the scheduled time arrives. It will then be sent automatically without you having to do anything.
After a message has been scheduled, WhatsApp displays it in the information screen of the respective chat. Via the new button in WhatsApp you can view the number of messages you have scheduled. You also have access to all kinds of options to manage the messages. So it remains possible to delete any scheduled message at any time before it is sent. Deleting a scheduled message does not generate a notification to the recipient.
The feature is not yet available in the latest WhatsApp beta on TestFlight, but WABetaInfo has already shared an image (see below). The new ‘Scheduled Messages’ button can be seen on the information page of a group chat in WhatsApp. From here you can view the number of posts you have scheduled and access options to manage them. The feature will likely work for both individual chats and groups.

A much requested feature
The ability to schedule messages is one of the most requested features of the app, so this is welcome news for WhatsApp users. Telegram already has the feature, and Apple has offered a similar option in the Messages app since iOS 18. Until now, the only way to schedule a WhatsApp message is to create an Automation in the Assignments app.
