This handy Apple Wallet feature saves you a lot of time

The Apple Wallet feature we’re talking about is a handy new way to manage and use credit cards. Apple has expanded the ‘Automatically fill in’ feature with the ‘Credit card’ option. We’ll show you how it works.

  1. Tap an input field to open the quick menu;

  2. Choose ‘Fill in automatically’;

  3. Tap ‘Credit card’;

  4. Choose the pass you want to use.

This way you can easily fill in your credit card number automatically, regardless of which app you use. It is essentially an extension of a long-standing one Safari-function. Now that Apple has expanded the feature to the entire system, it’s available in more places. You can manage your auto-filled credit cards in the Apple Wallet app.

Add cards

To add cards to this Apple Wallet feature, open the Wallet app in iOS 26. Then tap the three dots in the top right corner. Then select ‘Fill in automatically’. After iPhone gives you access via Face ID or Touch ID, you can see all current cards your device has saved for autofill. If you already have multiple cards here, they were probably imported from the old Safari feature or Apple Pay.

To add new cards, just tap the ‘Add Card’ button. Your iPhone can then import map data using the camera. But you can also enter the data manually. Once you have entered all your cards, you will never have to enter them manually again and you will simply fill them in automatically.
