The Phone app provides a handy option to disable the short vibration when connecting or ending a call. This prevents your iPhone from vibrating when a call starts or ends.

This option was mainly created to better help people with disabilities. In addition, your conversation partner can also hear these vibrations. For these reasons, you can enable or disable haptic feedback for the Phone app.

Haptic feedback in Phone

Apple has added an option in the Phone app settings that allows users to turn off haptic feedback when connecting or ending a call. This will no longer cause the iPhone to vibrate briefly when connecting or ending a call.

  • Open Institutions on your iPhone
  • Navigate to ‘Apps
  • Tap ‘Telephone
  • Enable the option ‘Feel‘ out
