2: Add loyalty and savings cards to Wallet for iPhone

Wednesday, April 8 • Wesley Fabry

Since the Wallet application has become the central location for Apple Pay, the ability to add loyalty cards to the app has become very difficult. If you tap the plus button you only get the option to add payment cards.

This is because savings cards can only be added via an app. An example is the Starbucks app in America, through this application it is possible to add your Starbucks loyalty card to Wallet and then use it. Fortunately, we can also do ours Albert Heijn bonus card add to the app thanks to the ‘Pass4Wallet’ app.

The AAWireless TWO+ is a compact dongle that allows you to convert a car with wired Apple CarPlay and/or Android Auto to completely wireless use via a USB port in the car. It is mainly intended for cars that have CarPlay/Android Auto via cable, but do not have the wireless variant.

Although more and more new cars are becoming available that support wireless CarPlay, there are of course still many vehicles on the road that do not offer this function. Using the AAWireless TWO+ you can make both CarPlay and Android Auto wireless.

Friday, April 17 • Wesley Fabry

Your iPhone or Apple Watch is becoming increasingly important in everyday life and can already function as a payment card, transport card or hotel and house key. It is also possible to add your car. The technology behind this function is called CarKey and Apple uses NFC, Ultra-Wideband (on new models) and Express mode in Wallet. Whether it works depends on the make and model of your car, as not all cars offer all features. The number of car manufacturers supporting Apple CarKey has increased in recent years, with brands such as Kia, BMW, Audi, Hyundai and Mercedes-Benz.
