KNMI Weather
The KNMI Weather app is the official, free weather app of the Royal Netherlands Meteorological Institute (KNMI), renewed since November 2024 with a new design and improved features for iPhone and Android users in the Netherlands. It provides quick alerts for dangerous weather (code red, orange or yellow) with advice on what to expect and how to prepare. In addition, there are hourly forecasts, a 14-day weather forecast, precipitation radar, sun forecast, sunrise/sunset times, climate information and maps with KNMI measuring stations and citizen measurements for temperature, wind and humidity. Also unique are earthquake notifications and an overview of national warnings, without ads and with widgets for quick access, making it a must-have for hyper-local, science-based data.
