Apple Sports expanded with Eredivisie and Belgian Pro League

Follow live scores, statistics, line-ups and current standings

Since the introduction of Apple Sports there were two notable absentees: the Eredivisie and the Belgian Pro League. While you could easily follow top competitions such as the Premier League, Bundesliga, LaLiga and Serie A via the app, Dutch and Belgian football fans had to switch to separate football apps and club apps for their own competition.

That has now changed, as Apple adds the Eredivisie and Belgian Pro League to the list of supported competitions, including live scores, extensive statistics, lineups and current standings. In combination with Live Activities, widgets and support for the Dynamic Island, Apple Sports suddenly becomes a full-fledged hub for football fans who want to follow everything in one place, without being dependent on a mix of separate apps and notifications.

Eredivisie and Belgian Pro League in Sports app

Apple is rolling out support for seven additional football leagues, including the Eredivisie, with Apple Sports 4.2. This means you can now follow the Dutch and Belgian competitions in the same way as the international competitions that have been present in the app for some time.
