Bacalar. It sounds like a fish dish from a distant place, but it’s a Bentley. A brand new one even. We will find out what it is exactly at the Geneva Motor Show.
Mulliner, the coachbuild department of Bentley, brings a special newcomer to the Geneva Motor Show: the Bacalar. According to Bentley Milliner, this is a hand-built ‘gran tourer’ whose design is inspired by that of the EXP 100 GT (photo 2 to 5), a special show car that Bentley gave itself as a gift in July this year because of its centenary. That promises a lot, because the EXP 100 GT had a fairly extravagantly designed carriage. Bentley Mulliner says more than the car is packed with sustainable materials.
What exactly Bentley Mulliner is going to show, is therefore just shrouded in mist. We do know that the car actually goes into production on a very small scale. Off to Geneva!
