Few records radiate as much fun as a photo of a car whizzing through the air. Especially when that flying four-wheeler also seems to be a heavy version of the new Ford Bronco! Ford posted a first image on its Twitter page of what may be a Raptor version of the retro-detailed Bronco.
The new Ford Bronco will not arrive at American dealers until the spring of next year, but Ford is already showing a photo of what is very likely an extra off-road worthy and quite fierce variant of the model.
The arrival of a heavy Bronco version is of course not surprising at all. The Bronco was already known as spectacular Bronco R Concept and Ford also has a tendency to top models like the F-150 and Ranger with an exuberant Raptor sauce. What will power the mighty new Bronco version is not entirely clear. Ford may spoon a blown six-cylinder into the ‘Bronco Raptor’. Recently, the first spy plates of a prototype surfaced that not only stood clearly higher on its legs than its regular brothers and sisters, but was also equipped with a well-developed carriage.
So what Ford exactly is planning with the Raptor-like Bronco, remains to be seen. It makes little difference to us Europeans. As far as is known, the Bronco is not coming to our part of the world.
