HP enthusiasts and petrol heads Attention: Lamborghini will present a very heavy version of the Huracán to the world later this week. It is said to be laced with influences from the racing version of the Italian exotic.
Lamborghini announces the arrival of a new version of the Huracán through a shadowy image. In the photo, an apparently heavily sprinkled Huracán is covered by a cloth. Above the newcomer it says ‘Based on a true story’ and that already indicates somewhat what we can expect. The text ‘from the circuit to the road’ removes the remaining doubts.
Lamborghini supplies a race track and therefore not street-legal version of the Huracán, the so-called Super Trofeo (Evo). It seems very strongly that Lamborghini comes with a for the public road and therefore street-legal Huracán that is laced with influences from that racing version. The link on Lamborghini’s Facebook page to the website where the digital unveiling takes place on Friday has the text ‘Lamborghini STO_Fb’ in it. FB may stand for Facebook. STO possible for Super Trofeo Omologato.
On Friday we’ll know more about the hefty and likely lightweight version of the Huracán, which is likely to get the Huracán Evo’s 640 horsepower 5.2 V10. You can count on the ‘Huracán STO’ to leave the Huracán Performante in the dust.
