With its compact exterior dimensions and extremely small turning circle, the new Renault TWINGO Electric is in its element in the city. Nevertheless, this fully electric Renault offers plenty of freedom and emission-free driving pleasure at a nice low cost, even in rural areas. In this way, electric driving becomes accessible to everyone.
As soon as the conversation turns to electric cars, terms such as expensive, inconvenient and range are mentioned. But that is not right. The new Renault TWINGO Electric is affordable, incredibly practical and has an excellent driving range. Because it is less heavy than large cars and therefore the TWINGO is economical with energy. In the city you only have to charge after 270 kilometers, outside the city you still get 190 kilometers. And that is more than enough, if you consider that, according to Statistics Netherlands, a car in the Netherlands drives an average of 35 km a day.
Silent and smooth
But it is mainly the great driving characteristics that make electric driving so enjoyable. That already starts with the automatic transmission. Ideal in the city. And then the smooth, shock-free acceleration. The 82 hp electric motor immediately delivers plenty of pulling power and without noise. The new Renault TWINGO Electric flashes through city traffic and makes joining the motorway extra fun. And if you let go of the accelerator in the B-drive mode of the automatic transmission, regenerative braking is applied, so that energy is recovered. This means you don’t have to use the brake pedal as much for a ‘one pedal driving experience’, making driving even easier.
Charging and shopping at the same time
A day of shopping or groceries? Park your TWINGO Electric at a charging station and while you are shopping or filling the shopping cart, the battery also fills up. On the way to a distant family or a weekend in nature? You whiz there silently. And once at your destination, you can enjoy your rest while the battery recharges. Electric driving is that simple and carefree.
Carefree driving with Private Lease
The new, bpm and road tax-free Renault TWINGO Electric is available from € 20,590, making it the cheapest electric car on the market. If you opt for the convenience of Private Lease, you pay € 299 per month and you only have to pay for charging. If you do that at home, you will of course be the cheapest. But also for public charging stations, the rate is so low that you are a lot cheaper with the economical Renault TWINGO Electric than with a petrol car. That makes the choice very easy.
