The delivery range of the Nissan Micra will look slightly different next year than this year. The Micra gets a new N-Design version and has been modified in detail.
Anyone in the market for a Micra can turn to Nissan for an impressive amount of versions. Basic type Visia must tolerate the Acenta, N-Connecta, N-Tec, Tekna, N-Sport and N-Style versions above it. The seven versions in which Nissan supplies the Micra are rearranged. Five versions remain. The Visia remains the entry-level model and also the subsequent Acenta. However, the N-Connecta placed above it will disappear and the N-Tec will also have to leave the field. The Acenta has the Tekna directly above it. Above that are the now N-Design called N-Style and N-Sport.
N-Sport
The N-Sport, initially introduced as a temporary version, may remain permanent. This version has various exterior details in high-gloss black. For example, the mirror caps are black, but the 17-inch alloy wheels are also in that color. The N-Sport has LED head and fog lights as standard. The interior includes seats covered with Alcantara.
N-Design
The N-Design offers more choice. For example, various external features, including the mirror caps, can be finished in Gloss Black or Chrome. The N-Design gets new 16-inch alloy wheels and has an interior with fabric seats, but with leather look on the door panels and dashboard. Those who want to make it really colorful can go for an Energy Orange interior in the N-Design.
Nissan is also upgrading the 1.0 three-cylinder, the currently 100 hp petrol engine that is called IG-T by the Japanese manufacturer. According to Nissan, the power source now meets the Euro 6d emissions standard that will be in effect from next year. Technical specifications are not yet available. However, it is obvious that the engine, just like the 1.0 in the Renault Clio, has been replaced by a 90 hp generator. Nissan promises in any case an improved torque curve and thus an engine that is more focused.
