Ford will also build Mustang Mach-E in China

The electric Ford Mustang Mach-E is currently only produced in Mexico, but that is about to change. The electric SUV will soon also see the light of day in China.

Ford produces the Mustang Mach-E to date only in its Cuautitlan Stamping and Assembly Plant (CSAP) in Mexico, but the electric SUV is given a second birthplace. The joint venture that Ford has in China with Changan, will also build the Ford in China for the Chinese market. It does not seem as yet that the Mustang Mach-E to be produced by Changan Ford is also intended for export markets.

In addition to the regular versions, the Chinese consumer can also opt for the sportier GT. The model is also available in various versions in the Netherlands. Ford supplies the electric SUV in our country with both rear and four-wheel drive. The RWD is available with 258 hp and 75 kWh battery pack, but there is also a 285 hp version with a 98 kWh battery pack. If you go for four-wheel drive, you can also choose the 258 hp version, in combination with a battery of 75 kWh. The four-wheel drive Mustang Mach-E with the 98 kWh battery pack is slightly stronger with 338 hp. Ford also adds the already mentioned 488 hp and 860 Nm strong GT version to the Dutch range.
