There will be another DS 4! DS presents the new model including the Cross and Performance Line versions. Plug-in hybrid and petrol powertrains will be available at showroom launch.
Especially for this model, DS has adapted the EMP2 platform of parent company Stellantis (the new PSA-Fiat Group) to accommodate a new generation of plug-in hybrid technology – while retaining interior space. The plug-in hybrid ‘E-Tense’ gets a system power of 225 hp, fed by a four-cylinder petrol engine and electric motor. The latter is integrated in the e-EAT8 machine. The new battery pack enables an electrical (WLTP) range of more than 50 km on a single charge.
The motorisation range also consists of two petrol engines: the 129 hp PureTech 130 and the PureTech 180 with 177 hp. Both are equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard. Advanced Traction Control is a unique option for the DS 4 Cross. While the regular DS 4 has a contrasting black roof and chrome accents, the color of the Cross roof is the same as that of the body and the details of the Performance Line are black. The DS 4 is 4.4 meters long, 1.83 meters wide and 1.47 meters high.
