The fully electric Audi Q4 e-tron has not yet been unveiled, but we already have the first prices and specifications exclusively in our hands.
Audi will soon be expanding its all-electric range with the Q4 e-tron. An all-electric SUV that finds its way between the Q3 and Q5 in size and is essentially the Audi cousin to the Volkswagen ID4 and Skoda Enyaq. The Q4 e-tron recently showed itself with limited camouflage and the interior has even been shown in its entirety. Although we know roughly what to expect in terms of performance due to its relationship to the ID4 and Enyaq, that is officially still a mystery. Techzle, however, was tipped off by a reader who inquired about the Q4 e-tron out of pure interest and learned what the options and prices will be.
It initially starts at € 48,500. For that price you get the Q4 e-tron with the smallest battery pack, probably with a capacity of 52 kWh. That version has a 170 hp electric motor and comes 340 km with a full battery. All in all, that is almost identical to the second cheapest Volkswagen ID4, although it costs roughly € 6,000 less. The most comparable Skoda Enyaq is the 180 hp Enyaq 60, which is about € 8,000 cheaper. Please note; In the case of the Q4 e-tron, it is probably the thickly dressed Launch Edition, so in later versions the starting price of the Q4 e-tron will undoubtedly go down and the price difference with the Skoda and the Volkswagen shrinks.
The second prize we have in our hands is that of the probably provisional top version. Again, it is a well-dressed Launch Edition. For a price of € 65,500 you get the Q4 e-tron with a larger battery – count on 77 kWh – and with a 204 hp electric motor. The range of this version is over 500 km. Sounds familiar? That’s right, the Volkswagen ID4 is available with comparable figures for prices from € 47,290 to € 60,240, depending on the chosen version. The Skoda Enyaq too, but from € 47,780 to € 61,760. In both cases, you should probably compare the maximum prices with the price of the Q4 e-tron, since then you have the Launch Editions next to each other. The price difference between the Audi and its cousins then amounts to roughly € 4,000 to € 5,000.
Sometime in the coming weeks, Audi will unveil the Q4 e-tron, so we should get confirmation of these prices and specifications. Not surprisingly, the importer does not want to confirm this yet.
